I guess I should have said the top 4 are locks...
Slaf, Byfield, Jarvis and McAvoy would be the next tier in my view.
After that, it depends with how many teams in the league and roster slots for skaters vs goalies. Jarry and Gus could be the next two, or it could be two skaters.

Can I just not read, or did you edit that into your original post after I asked?
Anyways, Jarry is probably a sure thing for me then, and then Gus for the last slot, because filling Fs at that point in a 10-team league should be much easier.

I'll be honest with you, I am not sure Ovechkin is a lock for me here. Even in a 10 team, 10 keeper league, he's someone I cant see many jumping to redraft early on and should be easily redraftable, especially if you are looking at a rebuild. If you're going to go, you might as well rip the bandaid off.
My 10:
Crosby (he's still playing at an extremely high level even though he's aging)
Kaprizov
Guentzel
Slafkovsky
Byfield
Cooley
Jarvis
McAvoy
Jarry
Gustavsson
10 Team, Points Only, Cash League
25 Man Roster (no position), top 20 point getters count at end of month
Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
Goalie points W=2pt L=-1pt SHO=2pt
Stamkos, Tavares, Eichel, Mercer, JRobertson, RThomas, Kucherov, Nugent-Hopkins, Tuch, KConnor, Necas, Point, Konecny, SJarvis, Cozenz, Morrissey, Bouchard, Josi, Novak, Tolvanen, Peterka, SBennett
G- Vasilevskiy, Sorokin, Oettinger

I am thinking like Axe, not so sure Ovie is a keeper here. Would need to see really good consist results from him the rest of the season.
Crosby / Kaprizov / Guentzel
Byfield / Cooley / McAvoy / Slafkovsky / Jarvis
Gustavsson
Last spot is between Zegras / Mercer and Ovie (only if he finishes exceptionally strong from here to end of season)
I left my previous fantasy hockey league. So just some guy who likes and plays hockey.
Even Carlsson and a later pick might be all it would take for me to move him now. If Carlsson and Ovie are available at your 2nd overall pick next fall, who are you taking? It's probably Carlsson.
