Wallstedt
Wolf
Dostal
Looking to take a stab at a goalie in the 2nd or 3rd round of my draft. Focus is on longterm upside and likelihood to reach it. I'd appreciate any help in identifying the top 2-3 goalies on this list! No need to rank beyond the top three, I realize I left this list a little longer then needed potentially but just want to make sure I'm not way undervaluing someone. Thanks to anyone who comments to help!

Wallstadt is number one and I don't think it's close.
Dostal, Wolf, and Annunen were the next three that stuck out for me with some high upside and likelihood to reach it.
Tarasov is an interesting name that I admittedly don't know as much about, so he's intriguing, but lower down my list.
Konovalov is probably worth a selection too because of the fact he's solid while also a lot closer to the NHL.

(basically best NHL player)
As a closet Blue Jackets fan (shhh, don't tell anyone) Tarasov is probably recognized as the best goalie in their system, including who they have in the pros today. He could very well be the best prospect in their system. He's also the reason they are willing to part with one of the two from their main roster. He's going to be the starter in CBJ before you know it. They loaned him back to the KHL this year so he could continue to play and develop. He had a rock solid season there, going 11-3-2 and finishing top 10 in the league with a .925 save percentage and 2.07 goals-against average. After their season ended, he came back to NA to play in Cleveland. Thats why they traded Vehvilainen, to make room in the AHL for Tarasov. Once he gets acclimatized to the NA game, he's legit. Like you, most dont know much about him so they look past him. I guess you heard it first here.

From the Dobber Prospects page...
He played 6 games for AHL Cleveland this year going 4-2 with a .896 SV% and 3.16 GAA. Too small a sample size for any real NA data.May 2021 – Tarasov came over at the end of March, 2021, from Salavat Yulaev Ufa of the KHL after his season concluded. He currently has only played one AHL game as he dealt with quarantining and visa issues. Tarasov is the new prize of the Jackets system and it should not be long until he is challenging for the #1 spot in the NHL.

If he's so good why won't you trade me Kivlenieks?

(don't sleep on Cossa in this year's draft as he would be in this group of 3 for sure)

People really sleeping on Dustin Wolf. I can see a similar situation like in Florida, with Spencer Knight and Sergei Bobrovsky, but Wolf doesn't come with the pretty 1st round draft pick billing. Like Sergei, Jacob Markstrom didn't impress. I know he hasn't been nearly as bad and doesn't come at a $10 million per price tag, but his play left a lot to be desired. Wolf is a very good prospect who could push for a backup role in Calgary mid-way into next season if he comes out strong to start in the A, 22-23 at the latest. Kid adapts fast. After a brutal first game in the A he caught on and looked very good. Albeit it is a small sample size. I think he could push for the starting job in Calgary in anywhere from 3-to-4 years. Now Belexus can ask what I am smoking...
I am high on the Wolf. *awwwwoooooooo* That's my howl.
I am a hockey obsessed fiend.
