Its friggin brutal... He was basically my best player last year. This year, not so much.
Seriously.
It's the 18th of November. He has 0 goals and 0 assists this month.
Was so happy when I traded for him at the beginning of the season. A real coup, I thought.

Burns owner in my league traded him to Saad straigt up.
It?s crazy just to see it didn?t get vetoed.
The whole Sharks team has been awful. Things can only get better from now on, right?
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
Pavelski hasn't been all that much better.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
Gotta say, Burns and Pavelski are burying me in one league. It boggles the mind how bad they have been thus far this season. I watched a few games and Burns looks as good as ever in my opinion. Getting the puck to the net, joining the rush, making fantastic outlet passes... crazy bad luck. Pavelski on the other hand has not looked as good. Hopefully both start getting on the score sheet again soon or I may as well throw up the white flag in one league.

Maybe he's just burned out a little and needs a rest.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
Burns carried me to back to back championships - our league settings made him the most valuable guy in the league. I shipped him this year for Nicklas Backstrom and Jake Muzzin and instantly regretted it. Now not so much
Same thing with Buff (his zero goals are killing me), just seems like inexplicable bad luck as their respective games seem on par with what we have come to expect. Hard to know what the rest of the year will bring - I'm sure there will be some course correction, but definitely looking at a real down year for Burns.

I don't see Burns or OEL in either of your signature teams, so I missed that it is a salary cap league. I can make more sense of it now, but for every Brent Burns, there are 15 OELs (give or take). I would still keep Burns, but I can definitely understand the urge. If I owned oel, it would have been an immediate accept.
