Agree w/Axe. This is nice trade.
And agree, too, that the 4% on Ekholm was proof that EDM/ARI probably had gentleman's agreement on this one.
Bjugstad can:
1. Kill Penalties - he was Arizona's SHTOI leader among forwards.
2. Avoid giving up goals - he was Arizona's team-leading forward in +/-... +7 (PLUS SEVEN!!!) on that Yotes team!!!
3. He can take a faceoff. He's not great at 47.2%... but it's better than Nuge (45%) and Janmark (37%) who are their other PK-forwards. Winning a PK-faceoff has serious (underappreciated) value. That's 15-20sec of kill to win a faceoff.
And this is his value... 4th line, PK-specialist. At $450k cap hit... nice trade-in.
