Maybe. Still looking pretty thin. Nothing but youngsters at C behind Zibanejad. But presuming regression for the Isles and the Blue Jackets looking like a lotto team, there are two playoff spots up for grabs. I really like Panarin as a Fantasy asset and real life player. Just can’t stand the Rangers for some reason. Hope he signs elsewhere.

I wanted him in Florida honestly but I think I'd prefer the Rangers more than the Islanders defense heavy system.

Haven't checked the cap #s but with Vesey shipped to Buffalo I'd imagine they would hold him until the trade deadline to maximize his return.

The Rangers took one offseason to go from bad to good. Being in NY definitely helps. But they added Panarin, Kakko, Trouba, Fox, and will probably be adding Kravtsov (sp?) as well. Basically a full top line and two top four D.
Panarin is a Ranger
Thoughts on fantasy impact? A Panarin - Zibanejad - Kakko line could be pretty promising. Still a PPG player in my books.
I love Panarin and don't want to trade him but I've got a Rangers fan in my league so it would be irresponsible to not consider it lol.
