Do you want the top 5 goalies, a list of goalies that will/could surpass expectations, do GAA and Sv% matter?
It's a good question, but too broad to get a good answer for.

I'll pass on a few thoughts I have, but I won't go through a general top list because we all generally know guys like Rask, Quick and Andersen are going to do well.

    1) Grubauer goes to Buffalo and succeeds as a starter.
    2) Carolina gives Darling another try, also signs a veteran backup, but both are surpassed by someone internal.
    3) Raanta keeps up his second half from last season and finishes as a very solid goalie option.
    4) Talbot rebounds to be a top 10 option, but still not AS good as 16/17
    5) Everyone overlooks Varlamov again, and is also a top 10 option in his first healthy season for a while.

Why is Raanta a "rebound" goalie? His second half stats were the best in the league.

Not sure about that, either. Had a couple of injuries, bad player mgmt and the team as a whole didn't play well for a while. Raanta killed it 2nd half and really, when he did play, he played pretty well for the most part.
12 team lifetime pool. 19 skaters / 3 goalies (only 2 goalies count for points and roster has no positional requirement)
Taxi Squad - players have 5 year protection then must be called up or dropped.
Goals and Assists count for points. Goalies get 1.5 for a win / 4.5 pts for a SO and points for G/A.

    Skaters:
Panik, Jankowski, Bjork, Anisimov, Sheary, Eakin, Ferland, Vrana, Wood, Athanasiou, Vesey, Bratt, Compher, Sikura, Kaprizov, Gaudette, Brodie, Ekblad, Shattenkirk.

    Goalies:
    Varlamov, Raanta, Ward

    Taxi:
Ho-Sang, Ang, Trenin, Dal Colle, Kamanev, Hawryluk, Demko
