Finals FA pickups

I am leading my H2H semifinals matchup ending today, have 2 FA moves can use up to set up roster for next week.

One potential final's opponent has a bunch of SJ players (Pavelski, Thornton, and Martin Jones) who play 4 games next week (M, Tues, Th, Sat)

Do I consider picking up Hertl (linemate of the Joe's), or Marleau/Couture (play PP with them but ice cold) to try to counterbalance if SJ goes off? Or even adding Reimer to block possible SJ goalie tandem (SJ play canucks twice)

Or should I try for players like McGinn (already have Perry/Getzlaf/Silfverberg), E.Kane, Palat, Toffoli, Lucic or Eakin/Sharp (other team also has J.Benn)

Would probably drop Nash, and Galchenyuk.

If SJS goes off, then your opponent will win anyway. You don't want to feed into that IMO. I would go with McGinn and Palat

I'd take my chances with McGinn (ANA have 4 games thi week) and either Palat or Toffoli, depending on who has the more favourable schedule.

well turns out the 2nd place team with all the SJ players (who swept me in the 3 H2H reg season matchups) lost on tie-breaker after Crosby's OT GWG (was winning 6-4 and tied 5-5) so I'll probably go with McGinn and Palat (plays TOR, MTL, NJ). Toffoli plays SJ, CGY, DAL.

McGinn got a great schedule ahead as ANA plays the 3 west coast Cdn teams plus Dal on Sunday. Should see some good return from him.

never mind, the other team lost a Kucherov assist after adjusted stats sunday nite, and now i'm playing the team with all the SJ players. He also has J.Benn so thinking of dropping Galchenyuk, GhostBear or an extra goalie for Hertl and/or Sharp.

I had already picked up McGinn and Palat before finding out my new finals opponent.
