If they actually wanna see who the best team in the CHL is, then the Memorial Cup isn't the way to do it. It is very flawed.

I Okay ?!? Thanks for yet another pessimistic post haha
Feel free to contact the CHL to present your improvements
Saint John and Mississauga were favourites all season long. Owen Sound and Kootenay were the hottest teams from March onwards. Good representation in my mind. And, FANTASTIC hockey

That's not a pessimistic post lol. You didn't understand my post, Dean.
I'm saying the FORMAT of the Mem Cup is what is flawed, not that the teams there aren't actually the best. They play 5 games and that decides who out of theses 4 teams is the best?
Also, the fact that Mississauga even gets to be there is ******ed when you think about it. They were the best OHL team this year but they lost in their Final, simple as that.
I'd make the Mem Cup a 3-team tourney. Whoever has the best record out of the 3 CHL champions, they get to host the Final and they get a first series bye. The remaining two team play a 5 or 7 game series. The winner moves onto the finals to play the overall best team.
Or, besides this season, the Q is automatically disqualified from the tourney because their league is sub-par compared to the other two.
There you go, there's my solution!
I do agree that in such a short tournament, it is by no means a guarantee that the "best" team wins the Memorial Cup. I firmly believe, for example, that Saint John is a better team than Kootenay, but Kootenay won last night in overtime and if that were an elimination game, bye-bye Saint John.
But regardless, I love the tournament and wouldn't change a thing!
Mississauga Majors defeated the Owen Sound Attack 3-1 tonight to gaurantee themselves a spot in the Semi-Final game.
The Remaining Schedule is:
TIE-BREAKER GAME:
Kootenay Ice (visiting team) vs. Owen Sound Attack - Thurs, May 26 @7pm
**Owen Sound won the first game 5-0**
SEMI-FINAL GAME:
Winner of Tie-Breaker vs. Mississauga Majors - Friday, May 27th @ 7pm
MEMORIAL CUP CHAMPIONSHIP GAME:
Winner of Semi-Final Game vs. Saint John Sea Dogs - Sunday, May 29th @ 7pm

Who do you think takes it all DY?
Im going with:
1. St. Johns
2. Mississauga
3. Owen Sound
4. Kootenay

It's "Saint John" (New Brunswick) not "St.John's" (Newfoundland). Two different Canadian cities
Your list is how I would rank them "on paper" but anyone of these teams can win it in a one game series.
I expect Owen Sound to beat Kootenay tomorrow night and then Mississauga to beat Owen Sound in the Semis.
The Saint John Sea Dogs have a stacked team and they are my pick.
I am routing for a Owen Sound - Mississauga semi-final game. These two teams played 7 games in the OHL Championship series + another one in the Memorial Cup and when you tally up the wins they are tied at 4 games a piece. If they met in the Semis it would decide the Best-of-9 Series

Like really how mnay people don't know the difference between St. Johns and Saint John!?>!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?
Mississauga is winning it TK, and I will take your offer and bet you on it.
If you lose, you put up a Sens avatar for 2 weeks. If I lose, Leafs avatar. How's that?
So if Kootenay, Saint John, or Owen Sound win, I win.
If Mississauga wins, you win.
