whats your draft position to redraft?
i personally would go hughes as i believe he would go higher in any draft than serg
I have a 1-year contract that can go to either Michael Sergachev or Quinn Hughes. Who do I give it too?
I'm leaning towards Sergachev as he provides more categories and I've read that he could be unseating Hedman now that his contract kicks in. A lot of "if's" though as we can't guarantee he keeps that PP1 position which would be key.
Sergachev FPTS per game (last season): 43
Hughes FPTS per game (last season): 40

They’ll both score similar goal numbers. I’m guessing Hughes has say 10-15 more assists than Sergachev. That’s at worst 250 points. Sergachev will have 100-125 more hits. That’s 300 points. And Sergachev blocks more shots - so conservatively 50 more blocks is another 150 points. It doesn’t look like you track PP points at all. Clearly Sergachev is the better own with a conservative difference of about 200 points.

Yeah, for 1 year it's probably Sergachev, if it were longer term I'd lean towards Hughes.

I would go Sergachev. Although you do know what you'll get from Hughes since he's pretty consistent. I'm a bit worried that Hedman may unseat Serg on the PP1 but I'll stick with him fo 1 year and see how it goes.

in this format, id also lean Serg. i don't see a sudden switch in PP1 deployment in TB, why break it up? ideally if you could protect QH and redraft Serg that's ideal, but if you cannot foresee that happening, then ya Serg is the ticket here

I have to agree with you, Hughes would go higher for his pedigree. If this were a points only league he would be a no brainer. I have a good amount of draft picks and an opportunity to redraft one of those guys but if I can spare having to worry about it come draft day I'd rather lock one of them up now.
