3rd line 40-45pts...
After years of drama, Sobotka has returned to the Blues just in time for the playoffs, and in only 4 games, he has 3 points so far. While it's only a short timeframe, that looks promising to me. How good do you guys expect him to be next year? What line will he play on for the Blues? What type of a player will he be?

In a faceoff league he might be more valuable... is he not a faceoff specialist?
I doubt he pushes 50 points from the 3rd line. It's 2017, not 2006.

His only shot for more than a point per every other game would be if he somehow got any semblance of PP Time; but on a deep and stacked team like the Blues, I think that would be a stretch, although perhaps possible if they use only Parayko on one unit and Pietrangelo on the other.

I agree with the others that he would have to sneak into the top 6 to pass 45 points on the season. He could be a bit of sneaky value in the right league setup though depending on categories.

Since rejoining the Blues, in 5 games (1 regular season) Sobotka has been averaging roughly 3min of pp a night, 1:30min on the pk and has been consistently seeing upwards of 16-17min a night.
3 points in 5 games (including regular season) looks like he is being utilized as a C,W out there.
He definitely has a chance to be a consistent top six player next year in STL, they have a lot of players that get shuffled around though.
Steen/Tank/Schwartz/Stastny are the 4 locks for top six roles.
Perron/Berglund/Fabbri/Barbashev/Sobotka all competing for those two remaining spots and will likely be cycled through the top 9. I think Fabbri is most likely to grab one of those top six spots and run with it though.

Sobotka has always been a underrated depth guy for me in my all stats league (no ATOI), he'll get ya 40-50 points, few SHP, maybe the rare appearance on PP2, then gets you them FOW, hits
