Default Keep 2: Gibson, F. Anderson, Bishop....

    Hey all,

I need some advice for my keeper league. Who would you keep?

Gibson, Andersen, or Bishop? [Wins, GAA, SV%, SHO]

I was planning on dropping Bishop but since his trade to Dallas I'm reconsidering....

I like Gibson, he's young and talented and the Ducks have a few more years of competitiveness imo.

I like Andersen because he's on a young and up and coming Leafs squad, coached by Babcock!

And then Bishop... Dallas is improved, Benn should rebound from his hip-surgery, but..... is he an injury concern? Then again... Gibson seems to get injured too.

    I don't know!!!!

    Thanks in advance

    AndersEn and Bishop.. for me.

    AndersOn is in Ottawa.

I'm not entirely convinced Gibson is ready for the starting job, neither is management - which is why Miller is there - insurance if he falters again.

Dallas will better - Bishop, IMO was unable to block out the rumours & Vasil talk last year. Bishop is where he wanted to be.
Toronto is arguably the fastest rising team. He could be a top 5 G next year.

    Andersen and Bishop.

I don't trust Gibson to stay healthy.

Another vote for Andersen and Bishop. Bishop landed in the perfect spot and Andersen and the Maple Leafs have a great young team with lots of potential and Andersen will get a tonne of starts.

Hmmm no vote for Gibson yet? I'm a little surprised. IMO he's the most talented goalie of the three. He's also the youngest. Do you all think Anaheim is going to be that bad?

My vote is for Andersen and Gibson.

He is he most talented imo. And no Anaheim will it be that bad. They will be quiet good actually. There D is stacked. They have one of the best up and coming goalies and a solid group of forwards.

Have you tried trading one? I don't think there is a big gap between any of these three. Why not just look at trading one, let the guy choose, to a team that is weak in goal? That way you are off the hook at making that choice, and you gain an asset of some sort.

Thanks for the advice theslymonkey. Currently my league doesn't allow off-season trading, but I'll definitely be trying to change that!

Gibson is the odd man out for me. The other two may be older but they are also better. Dont worry about age.

Axeman, why in your opinion are Andersen and Bishop better than Gibson? Last season Gibson had a .924 sv% while Bishop had a .910 and Andersen a .918

Gibson also had more shutouts, a lower GAA (2.22) vs Anderson's (2.67) and Bishop's (2.54).

I understand that Bishop is the #1 for Dallas, but I think Anaheim clearly has a better D-core than either Toronto or Dallas.
