    Default keeper league settings

It is our 2nd year in my first keeper league.

We are 14 teams with 2C-2RW-2LW-4D-1UTIL-2G-4BENCH

We can only keep 7 players out of 17 players. We have no farm.

I finished first last year so I will be picking last this year in the first round.

Do kepper league usually do a snake draft after that or do they keep the same order (1-14 /1 -14...)

I just don't find it fair to pick last in every round since we will all have 7 good players on our team. For sure the guy who finish last will have a very good team this year.

Let me know what peaople usually do in this case.

I won my league (in sig) and pick last every round as well but we keep 17/26. I don't think it is a matter of being fair or not. Some leagues put emphasis on keeping together teams year to year and some on leveling the playing field every year to make sure everyone is competitive. I think both have their advantages but it seem disingenuous to win and then complain about the rules because they aren't ideal for you. As for what you can do, I would say either convince enough of the other owners you are right and change the rules or go find a dynasty league to play.

I'm not complaining. I made a mock draft dans realized that picking 1st every round gives you a much better team since all of our 7 keepers are quality players.
Just wanted to know what most leagues are doing... but thanks anyways.

In a keeper you would pick 1-14 every round. The point of a keeper is that you won, have the best team and most likely the best keepers. You also have the money.

Picking snake style is generally for the inaugural draft or one year leagues.

If I was last place and then knew that the draft was even, basically making it extremely difficult to rebuild and compete, I'd be finding a new keeper league.

    Just my two cents.

I agree with Theslymonkey. Snake for inaugural draft and then traditional (pick in the same spot every round) every year after. We kept the snake for the first few years of our keeper league and it makes it really hard for a team to legitamitally rebuild. We quickly changed to traditional and haven't looked back.
