You are giving up waaay too much
Nash is overrated and too many $$$. I like the kids esp DG but they are a waaays away and necessarily elite.

Seth Jones is a stud. Krejci is rock solid and should post solid #s. Equal to Nash or not far behind given u could FOWs. Murray is solid too. And given you are 12 team league that 2nd could up being a top 20 pick....

Stay far away from that deal.

I have to admit, this is a bit confusing. In your OP, you said he made you an offer and then a couple lines later, you say you made the offer.

Either way, if he is offering you the Nash side (which looking at your sig, you own the Krejci side) then yes I would accept that.

If it's you making the offer, then here's hoping he accepts.

Beer and Blue Jay long weekend made it confusing, for sure.

Trying to clarify question: was I helping the Gm or did I take advantage of him?

He started the dialogue, but his offer would have my team $5M+ over our max Cap. I countered with the above offer. He accepted it.

Bottom line was that the trade was a good one for me, solidifying my position of another run at the Cup, recovering some Minor help. Selling Seth and Murray reasonably high. Anything over 63pts from Nash is a win, hoping Brassard holds his own.
