Rinne's keeper value
Where do you see his value for this coming season? We are a keep 4 and the last spot will come down to to Rinne or MacKinnon. Rinne and the Preds really faded down the stretch which killed me in the playoffs and I can't say I have a ton of confidence in him as a top ranked keeper. I traded a lot for MacKinnon in hopes he'd turn in to the next Tyler Seguin, but I have no problem walking away from a mistake. However, I have more faith in MacK turning last season around than I do Rinne putting up the #'s he did.

Tough choice.
You almost have to go with Rinne, as he's a workhorse starter with the potential for stud numbers.
MacKinnon is probably gonna be a good one, but I think in a keep 4 league, you'd be able to get him back in the draft. The perception on him has been clouded with the ho-hum year he had last year. If you feel strongly about him, rest assured that many others no longer do (probably mistakenly).

I would keep MacKinnon. Your league has only 10 teams so there will be quality goalies available to re-draft. Additionally, your league has 9 skating categories vs. 4 for the goalies so it favours skaters as opposed to goalies.

I would keep Rinne. I think you'd be more likely to redraft MacKinnon than Rinne.

Yeah super tough call here.
Pure speculation but in your league, I'll guess of the 40 players kept, 25 are F, 5 are D and 10 are G (on average).
Is Rinne a top 10 goalie? I think he absolutely is. Is MacK a top 25 F? Not last year but I think he becomes one.
In a start 2G weekly, I think you're at an advantage to hold onto a top 5-10 goalie. So Rinne for me. (With the caveat being that I DO think MacK puts up Seguin-like numbers in the future and if YOU trust him more than Rinne - ALWAYS go with your gut!)
