Good value for Vermette. The coyotes should be able get more futures for him at some point over the term easily.

I don't know what went wrong with him in Chicago. I think he's a solid player (face-off specialist, defensively sound, moderate offensive producer).

Well he did just win a Cup so it's not like he needs to chase one. This may have been right around the best offer so to be able to not have to uproot the family and maintain his place in a fair weather city seems like a good deal.
