Kopitar or RyJo (C/RW)

Personally I'd take RyJo in this setup as I think he'll be better or comparable in most cats (even +/- tho that's because I think CBJ will be a very strong team next year).

Youth, his goal-scoring prowess (which always seems to amp guys' perceived value) and dual eligibility seal the deal for me.

Another Johansen vote for me.

One thing I will say is Kopitar is going into a contract year. Some players elevate their games prior to a new contract.

But in a keeper, RyJo

Johansen for me. He managed to have a pretty good season and take another step this year even with his team having so many injuries. At 22 he still has more room to grow.

I'd keep Johansen over Kopitar.. LA plays all 4 lines pretty evenly for the most part.. Johansen is the Blue Jackets #1 option!!

And I'm a Kopi owner and love him as a player but he's not your guy here. The C/RW flex makes this a piece of cake for me. Thanks to Sutter, Kopitar may end up being one of the biggest fantasy teases of all-time. Every year we hear, "this is the year he breaks out and hits that 85 point upside" and every year he finishes with 60-70.

RyJo for me as well.

Kopi has lost his luster for me over the years. Never seems to live up to the hype.

RyJo for me, although it's close. He's younger and dual-eligible, so that's enough for me.

With a Career average 73pts/82games, Kopitar is no dud right now, but age and dual position swings me to Jo.

I’m not a massive fan of his downward trend the last few yrs, but Kopitar is still a top talent. His last 6 seasons his PPG has gone…0.987ppg, 0.973ppg, 0.927ppg, 0.894ppg (LO), 0.854ppg, and 0.810ppg. From his massively slow start and possibly playing hurt prolly lowered his production last yr, I still don’t think he is worth keeping over Ry-Jo, however, he’s set for a big turnaround with a contract yr and his first summer off since 2010-11 season

I prefer Johansen.

Kopitar is a great player, but RyJo is a beast fantasy-wise.
