Points only I would take Silfverberg.. A league with faceoff's though, I may lean towards Couturier..

Right now I give Couturier a slight edge in this format but I think Silfverberg has more room for improvement given their respective situations especially if the Ducks lose Beleskey this summer.

i would pick Couty as well...his salary is a bit higher but i think into the future that small gap may entirely level off

Silf for me. He's really established himself here in the playoffs. Good chance he'll be seeing plenty of time on either the top or 2nd line and with that supporting cast, I'll take what I feel is the higher points related ceiling for a chance at some decent FOW from Couturier (perhaps on the 3rd line). Lots of If's and Then's but I'll like the Ducks more than the Fylers (so take that with a grain of salt).

I own both these guys (check out my sig), and in my format of points only, I give the edge to Silfverberg and if I have to get rid of somebody it will be Couturier.

It will be interesting to see what a new coach in Philly does with the lines and how he deploys his forwards. If he comes in and just assumes Couturier to be the classic "shut down" center then that hurts his potential production.

I am still not sold on Silfverberg in Anaheim. The talent is definitely there but Boudreau continues to shuffle lines like a deck of cards.

Honestly, I don't really trust either to put up much for offense. I think both have excellent upside but both are misused by their teams.

If I had to pick one, I would go with Couturier and hope the new coach offers him some more time on the offensive side of things. I don't see Boudreau changing his style anytime soon.

I think Silfverberg is more offensively skilled and has proven more but both should top out as 2nd liners at best
