    Default Saad vs Kuznetzov

I am trying to decide who is the better option going forward next year in a keeper. Cats are g,a,PTS, PIM, plus minus, Sog, GWG, pp. I traded Saad for Eberle at the beginning of the season thinking of his potential and playing with Toews but as the season continued he was alright with a chance of 50 points. Kuzentsov I am big on and he has the potential to be a star. Other GM's tell me he will be there when it's my turn to pick in the 2nd round since I have no 1st round pick. Who do I protect?

I don't think Saad reaches 60 point plateau until Sharp is moved. I could see Kuzy centering line 2 and playing the wing on PP1.

    Safe bet: Saad. Upside: Kuznetsov

Depends on what you want, really. Both are probably around 50 points next season. Kuznetsov has more upside but Saad is surely going to reach that. I would personally go with the upside.

My money would be on kuznetsov. I'd say he's got 60-65 in him next year. Saad I'd put at 55_60 max.

Agree with these takes. I think Kuzy has the higher ceiling and will be relied on more so than Saad down the road.

I'm taking this bet myself. I think Kuzy has the upper hand. He has been showing much more of late, and is gaining some trust of the coach.

Kuznetsov will be my choice over Saad. However, I also have Turris who has been coming on lately in the last month and has great connection with Stone. I didn't begin a thread with him because I think Kuznetzov and Saad were the better keeper. Going forward is Kuznetzov still the better own over a player like Turris.

    For Saad- yes.

When the Hawks move Sharp there will be a big top 6 hole that Saad will fill. Even when Q shuffles his line by the 3rd period of the first game, Saad will still be playing with Kane or TT.
