Better year next year: Teemu Pulkkinen or Vladislav Namestnikov?

Pulkkinen needs to clear waivers starting next year so he's pretty much a lock for the Red Wings roster. Namestnikov will likely be on Bolts' roster but they're both stuck behind a lot of depth.

Who will do better and what are your expectations points wise?

Gotta go with Teemu here.

Already being utilized as a PP guy, he will be used for offense more than Vladdy IMO. Namestnikov will stick with the team but with so much depth, a 40 point year would be a success. Can't see Teemu topping those points next year either, but has the higher upside so I would roll with him

I don't think either guy will be that much of a factor next year so I would gamble on Pulkkinen (PP specialist) if my choices are limited to these two. I'd put his max at 40 given his utilization but probably falls well short of that mark.

This is exactly what I was going to say.

Namestnikov had great chemistry with Kucherov in the AHL but now he's kind of buried in the depth of Tampa.

Pulkkinen seems to be getting more opportunity to succeed in Detroit.
