Default 2 year comparison. Will probably REP for answering if possible

    14 team league, keep 17 of 21. Daily starts, G,A,PPP,SOG,+/-,Hits,Blocks Wins,GAA,SV%,SHO

Drafted the league at the start of LAST season. (Sorry for the formatting)
    1. (10) Patrick Kane(Chi - C,RW)
    2. (19) Corey Crawford(Chi - G)
    3. (38) Ryan Nugent-Hopkins(Edm - C)
    4. (47) Thomas Vanek(Min - LW,RW)
    5. (66) Pierre-Alexandr Parenteau(Mon - RW)
    6. (75) Zdeno Chara(Bos - D)
    7. (94) Jason Pominville(Min - RW)
    8. (103) Drew Doughty(LA - D)
    9. (122) Sam Gagner(Ari - C,RW)
    10. (131) Jonathan Bernier(Tor - G)
    11. (150) Ryan McDonagh(NYR - D)
    12. (159) Ryan O'Reilly(Col - C,LW)
    13. (178) Teddy Purcell(Edm - RW)
    14. (187) Jake Muzzin(LA - D)
    15. (206) Seth Jones(Nsh - D)
    16. (215) Jake Allen(StL - G)
    17. (234) Mikhail Grigorenko(Buf - C)
    18. (243) Cam Fowler(Anh - D)
    19. (262) Steve Ott(StL - C,LW)
    20. (271) Anton Belov(Edm - D)
    21. (290) Michael Grabner(NYI - RW)
I made some horrible trades, and some great trades.

Worst, Ryan Johansen and Palat away for MSL. End of last season.
Dishonorable mention: Cory Crawford and RNH away for Fasth, Reimer, and Eberle. Early last season.

Best.... probably Mike Green and Vanek away for Subban and Voracek. End of last season.
Honorable mention: Ryan Mcdonagh away for Frederick Andersen. Near End of last season.

I started this season poorly and pretty much decided to sit on some young players for the remainder. I read about so many players constantly rebuilding, and so I tried to not keep cycling through prospects.

    My current roster:

    John Tavares
    Nathan MacKinnon
    Matt Duchene
    Eric Stall
    Sean Monahan
Milan Lucic (I never recommend owning. Completely impossible to trade due to being a huge D-bag)
    Evgeny Kuznetsov
    David Pastrnak
    Aleksander Barkov
    Nail Yakupov
    Max Domi
    Mikael Granlund
    Valeri Nichushkin (IR)

    P.K. Subban
    Oliver Ekman-Larsson
    John Klingberg
Ryan McDonagh (the only player I originally drafted. Although, I did trade him at a point and re acquire him later)

    Frederik Andersen
    John Gibson
    Andrei Vasilevskiy
    Alex Stalock
    James Reimer

Well, our league is having a fallout and I have told the commish I am not returning after this season. Long story that I'm sure many could relate to. So much for building through young players.

Any fellow Dobberites have an opinion, good or bad?

I'd say your team is looking much better now than last year. Too bad you're not coming back, this team looks like it would be awesome in a couple of years

I would try to trade E. Staal.. He still has some name value, but is on the decline. Maybe you can package him and Lucic to a less experienced manager?

Nobody in the league would ever give me worthwhile value for those 2. I couldn't even move Lucic for an injured Lehner this week.
Also, this was my first league. I'm just as in-experienced as the next guy.

It is actually insane to me no one wants Lucic or Staal in a keep-17. Sounds like you've got some fans-first fantasy-managers-second in this league
