I need to trade Kessel

I'm in 1st by a hair in a 16 team league with 12 skater categories. See signature. We keep 7.

I don't think I can maintain 1st with Kessel being a bag of crap for the rest of the year, so I've resigned to the fact that I need to move him. It is what it is but I want a fair return (this is getting difficult).

A guy that's out of the playoff race has Wheeler and I looooove me some Wheeler.

I also own Voracek, who is ranked #5 in our league right now, so there's decent sell-high value if you believe he's playing over his head.

He also owns Crosby and I'm greedy

How quickly does he say no to Crosby/Wheeler for my Kessel/Voracek and a pick?

Help me determine fair value for Kessel in this situation! Which RW should I be aiming for? I need Goals and PPG.

Yeah for sure. I've got 176 wins and 2nd has 169. 3rd has 171 (but more losses) and 4th has 167. It's a close race.

This guy is way closer to accepting this Crosby/Wheeler trade than I thought he would be. It's like 50/50 at this point.

Here is the list of RW(Yahoo) with more goals then Kessel(23): Kucherov, T.Johnson, Little, Simmonds, Malkin, P.Kane, Perry, Seguin, Tarasenko, Pavelski, Stamkos, Nash and Ovechkin.

Just Under him you got: Vrbata(22), Johansen(22), Nyguist(21), Niederreiteer(21), Backes(21), Forsberg(21), Neal(21), Carter(20).

In the guys over you don't have a lot of options since Malkin, Kane, Seguin, Stamkos, Ovie and probably Tarasenko are untouchable and/or injured.
So that leaves Kucherov, Johnson, Little, Simmonds, Pavelski, Perry and Nash. Little and Simmonds should cost less here.

In the guys just Under you get more options and they will cost less. I like Carter as a trade target here since LA will be battling hard for a playoff spot.

So if an owner in your league is out of the playoff with 1 or more of these guys and he hasn't great keepers, try to convince him that Kessel will be traded this summer.

Throw in Foligno and see if he would do that for Crosby/Wheeler. That guy is playing over his head but he looks damn sexy right now.

Sure, I'll try that. Thx. Foligno is killing it in this league, but I've always known he's playing over his head.

There's a chance i could include Foligno and get Callahan or Datsyuk back in addition to the Crosby/Wheeler part of it. It depends who he is keeping.

This is very enticing IMO...Voracek has already begun to cool down and I think Crosby will explode for a 10-12 game hot streak any day now. I think I'd take this and be very happy about it.
