    Default Klingberg for Kucherov

16 team multi-cat full keeper league. not in signature. D scoring is worth more than forward scoring (Forward goal = 5, D goal = 7, forward assist = 3, D assist = 5)

My D: Pietrangelo, Klingberg, Jones, Daley, Ceci, Boyle, Seidenberg

I have some decent young forwards in Toews, MacKinnon, Johansen, Stepan, Hertl, solid prospects in Burakovsky, Domi, and Nylander, Pulock and Reinhart are my top D prospects... my team could sneak into the playoffs but generally speaking it's not really a threat yet so I'm not concerned about improving in the here and now.

I defintely feel like my D is weaker than my Forwards and D depth is key in our setup, but I'm wondering if this is a good sell-high on Klingberg.

    who would you want here?

I'd take Kucherov. Klingberg has been a surprise. As impressive as Klingberg's been, I still think Kucherov's upside is for real and would trust it going forward.

Both are high risk high rewards at the moment. It wouldn't surprise me to see Klingberg elevating his play at the level of a Shattenkirk, and see a small decline with Kucherov due to less opportunities.

Klingberg has been adjusting better to the NHL than Karlsson or Shatty.

This was my thinking too. With his skating ability and the forwards he plays with I think Klingberg has an immense upside in today's NHL.

    Agree with Stone's take here.
