    Default Waiver D Options

Any suggestions on who is the best D gamble to fill in until Phaneuf returns (and maybe beyond)? I don't necessarily need a full replacement of his PIMs. I'm leaning Del Zotto, but it seems like a pretty underwhelming list. Here are the options I'm looking at:

    Clendening
    Del Zotto
    Connauton
    Demers
    Ekholm
    Rundblad
    Derek Pouliot
    Morgan Rielly
    Redraft 12-team Roto with 1 waiver/day ($5), start 3 at each F position, 5 D, 1 rookie, 2 Goalies, 5 Reserves
Player Cats = G,A,Pts,PIMs,+/- (PIMs worth 50%, and +/- worth 25% compared to the other player cats)
Goalie Cats (worth half what player cats are) = W,GAA,S%,SO (SO worth 25% of what player cats are)
    C: Tavares,Thomas,Johnston,Lindholm(Res),Zacha(Res)
    LW: Robertson,Fiala,Svechnikov,Lafreniere(Res)
    RW: Nylander,Necas,Reinhart
    Rook: Knies,Carlsson(Res)
    D: Josi,Bouchard,Weegar,Forsling,Hanifin,Durzi(Res)

mDZ for this week. If I was picking one for The rest of the season Id probably gamble on Reilly but play it week to week.

MDZ is looking good. Demers hasn't been too bad lately, either.

Definitely go with MDZ while he's going well.

Yeah I also agree MDZ is probably the "go to" choice... Keep an eye on Zadorov +/- might be an issue, but he is getting a bit of PP time in Buffalo...

Not very good in terms of options so just plug your nose and go with MDZ.

If you are going to take a gamble, I'd consider Clendening. In his first game with the Canucks last night, he skated for just over 19 minutes and had almost 4 minutes of power play time.
