It is a pretty big range though. Wish they could be more specific.

1st knee injuries I guess will have a big range. It’s prolly a strain/horrid tear/pull. 3-4weeks for mild, 4-6weeks for a medium, 7-8 weeks for a bad tear. So because it’s early they didn’t know what the grade of the injury was?
Or could be a trade tactic. If you know someone is without their No1 D-man till end of March/April you’d be pretty chincy on what you give up/ask a lot more back because of desperation. But if you say oh, only 3 weeks (9-12 games), that’s not going to merit a desperation trade.

How much will his absence be felt by the forward corps? Many of us were hopeful to see a bounce-back in the 2nd half, so I wonder if this deepens their struggles.
I just dropped Marchand and burned my #6 waiver on Duchene, and I'm hoping that I didn't make a mistake here!
