    Default Brodie trade...

    Hey all,
Is Brodie going to produce like this for years to come?

I am looking to win this year and add some scoring, was going to think of offering either:

    Kadri
    Brodie
    --------------
    Atkinson
    Brodie

    For Nash and Russell
(Both of which are this year only players)

    Thoughts?

Yea he will most likely produce at around this rate for years to come.

That being said, if you're going for the win then don't hesitate to move him for solid pieces this year.

I'd try to get a better defenseman that Russell if you're moving Kadri

    Hey all,

Came back to me with a completely different look:

What do you guys think of:

    TO Me:
    Kopitar
    Giarardi

    For

    Brodie
    Huberdeau or Eberle

    A) Does this make a difference for me, and B) Who do I give up, Hubs or Eberle?

(Again, this trade is really for this year...Kopitars contract is 7.5 next year, my two guys combined is < 1.5m)

Talks have derailed. I would open discussions elsewhere. Your goal is to move Brodie while his value is high. Now suddenly you're moving Huberdeau? Yes, on a level field Kopitar is a coup. But with a salary cap it makes him less of an asset. Just shut the talks down. Girardi is useless. My .02
