Tavares or Seguin?

I'll go Tavares but I don't see much difference here. Could go either way.

I think they both more or less keep their pace in the second half which gives Seguin 90 something and Tavares about 80, I prefer Seguin

Face value probably even, but if you dig deeper into the stats/situation, Tavares is a sneaky "buy low"...

Isles have played only 20 home games so far, where they average a ridiculous 3.65 goals per game, which is tops in the league in that department. Also a very respectable 23.7 PP efficiency rating at home too. That should really benefit Tavares in the 2nd half.

Seguin is in the opposite end, Stars have played 26 home games so far, which they average 3.19 goals per game, they've only played 20 games on the road, which means that they'll have a heavy road schedule in the 2nd half than the Isles. (2.95 goals per game on the road). Stars' PP also a little bit weaker compared to Isles (15% vs 19.2%)...

Both are bonafide superstars, so the point production probably won't be too much of a disparity between the two, but if you're looking for slight advantages, Tavares is a better option based on the numbers...

Tavares for me, but I think you could even get a bit more from Seguin now. A 2for2 trade with Seguin and Tavares as the center pieces.

Seguin + XPlayer for Tavares + YPlayer.

Have YPlayer a lot higher than XPlayer and hope the Seguin hype clouds the GMs mind and he misses/misreads the YPlayer’s value

Nice analysis by Ryan on the home/road split, but I wouldn't overthink this one. Seguin has been on fire all year long... if it ain't broke don't fix it.
