Lots of assets to pay but at the end of the day I got Gino Malkin. Dougie Hamilton is a keeper for me as well and might be worth more then Landeskog or Kane by the end of the year if he keeps up his play. What do you guys think?

I really like this for you. Like Canucks_fan18 said, you paid to get a top asset in the league but you absolutely did not overpay.
Girgensons/Kane/Landeskog are nice players but they're more valuable in multi-cat leagues and less so in mostly points league. The PIM's does boost their value a little but not enough to say that you overpaid IMO.
Plus you now have Ovechkin/Malkin as your top 2 keepers, and a nice core of Malkin/Ovie/OEL/Pietrangelo/Bob moving forward with a bunch of young guys beind them with signficant potential.
This is a very good deal for you. And frankly I love that you got Hamilton. Sweet add.
2017 is a great year to give up a first in. You'll definitely be competitive by then, so no worries. 2016 first from someone else is a great trade chip so good job on using that. And not giving up your first this year is sweet (assuming you still have it). If you don't compete this year, you'll likely get a player who will be ready when you're hoping to compete.
