    Default Trading Gibson..

Was recently offered Morgan Reilly + Vasilevsky + Ennis for my Johnny Gibson..

Very tempting to say the least. What would you do?

Currently in a dogfight for 1st 12 team head to head (keep all)

I own Rask and recently picked up H.Lundqvist for F.Andersen and Soderberg with Pickard as my third goalie.

I have a hunch Bryzy is gonna choke and Gibson is gonna creep would love the triple threat.. But this offer is very tempting..

I have both Gibson and Vasya and I love both - but if I had a gun to my head to pick one I would actually go with Vasilevski. Not saying you should because Gibson does have more value.

Morgan Reilly is a an excellent blue chip piece
Might be getting a little greedy but take out Ennis for quality picks or a boom bust player - skinner? yakupov? and pull the trigger.

If Reilly and Ennis will help you win then do it. Otherwise I dont see the point.

I hear ya,, finding it hard to make sense of it. I see Gibson back in the show this year and a threat for the starting gig. Vas has gotta be 2-3 yrs away. Thing is Reilly and Ennis or any fringe player though more than likely paying off next year won't really help me this year... Tough one but I'm slightly inclined to reject but the load of talent I would be receiving is hard to pass up... My drop choices are Leddy, Goligoski or Pickard.. So is it even worth it??? Ugh

Done deal. Acquired Vas and M.Reilly for Gibson. Should pay off in a couple years.

I own Gibson myself and that is a very good trade as I regard Gibson and Vas nearly equal in potential. True Vas has to deal with Bishop but his deal is only 3 years so there is the chance. Reily is just icing on the cake. Good move.
