That would be awesome.
Years ago I read somewhere that a player played 58 minutes in a regulation time NHL game. He sat 2 minutes in the penalty box. I think it was during the 50s or 60s but I cannot find the information now.

paul maurice played D when he was in the NHL. rumor has it he wanted to lace up the skates again, so he is taking out the jets D one by one until he can serve as an emergency replacement.

Oh, this is just... The team's entire top 4 D?!! The Jets are finally playing decent hockey! This isn't fair! Why do bad things happen to good fans?

This is rough. There is no real solid experience on defense for the Jets right now; maybe Buff, who's been great so far, but he's still working hard at learning how to properly play D. Stuart is a rock on that back end. This is a massive test, but hopefully the team can rally behind such ridiculous adversity and tread water for the next month, at minimum.

Julien Brouillette will slot in tomorrow, in his first game as a Jet.
