My Byfuglian/Iginla for Vrbata. Going to need to drop someone when Hedman comes back and Iginla looks to be the odd man out. I'll have 5 d-men since grabbing Pietrangelo and Klingberg of waivers and could use the help on RW. Would I be better off keeping Buf and slotting him into the RW?

Byfuglien isn't really relevant if he's not a defenseman unless it's a deep league. Essentially what you're saying is your basically trading dbuf for Vrbata which isn't a bad deal. Vrbata is playing very well in that top line and byfuglien isn't one of your keepers, I'd go through with it, but maybe try to get a pick. This is all contingent on the person you'd be trading to wanting iginla.

Might as well grab Vrbata when you can. See if they will throw in a pick as you are giving up 2 decent players especially if he needs D.
Getting Hedman back in line-up will be a boost.

I would do this deal, esp if your going to drop Iggy anyway.
Vrbata is prime for best season ever playing with the Twins and is starting to really gel. He should only get better.

No hits league: Buff's value goes down… I would do this deal and think you come out ahead- Vrbata + Hedman for Buff + Iggy. I'd take that deal every time. Now, that's not what the other manager gets, but essentially that's what you get.

So this is why I hate trading. Right after this trade goes through I realize I'm playing the other gm H2H, both Buf (2g-1a) and Iggy (2g) decide to start scoring and Buf gets moved back to D and plays over 20 min last night. Vrbata...1g-1a, 2pp 11SOG but Hedman (off IR) has 3a so this one is closer than it appears. I've been wAiting all season for Buf to move back to D, where I believe he's more productive.
