Interesting trade offer in a points only keeper league. J. Voracek for R. Johansen and G. Landeskog.

I'd jump all over that. Even in points-only, I think johansen is about even with Voracek. So if there are no keeper implications (i.e. you can keep both players without a problem) I would totally do this deal. Sell high, brother.

Yep, I'm taking that all day as well...RJ is the real deal and Landy makes it even better.

RJ and Landeskog for Voracek is a steal. Absolutely a no brainer.

First it depends on what your team looks like as the deal really would be Voracek + playerA = Johansen + Landeskog.

so who do you need to drop to make room for Landeskog

Secondly, Voracek > Johansen. Johansen is good but he is not Voracek 2014-2015 good.

Now, if you are the one receiving Voracek sure go for it, but if you are sending you need to ask for more..

To be honest I'd need more info to give you a real answer. League settings, # of teams, starting positions, roster etc.

If you have to drop Tarasenko to keep Lando this isn't a great move, same as if you only keep 3 then you want the best player in the deal.

If you keep 12 and you upgrade Upshall to Lando as your last keeper then its a win.

This year: Super-Voracek is the real deal, 80+ pts. Johansen I believe will slow down to 65pts, Landy 50pts.
Years after: Normal Voracek 65-70. Super-Johansen 70++, Landy 60+.

So Voracek is a 65-70 pt guy after this year, despite what he's showing, who he plays with, and his pedigree, but Johansen is 70++? We might as well add a few more pluses on there then, and say Johansen is 70+++++. And for good measure, ++++.

Anyhow, if this is a limited keeper and only 1 of the players involved will be kept, I want Voracek. If this is a limited keeper, and Landeskog is only a slight upgrade on a keeper you would be replacing, I want Voracek. If this is a full keeper and Landeskog is a big upgrade to another keeper, then I want the Johansen side.

Next year: Voracek 75-85, Johansen 70-75, Landeskog 63-68.

My main issue is how anyone can say at this point that Voracek is a 65-70 pt player, yet Johansen is a 70+++ player.

So really you only disagree with me on Voracek. This is just a hunch, but I think this will be a career year for Voracek, I think next year he goes back to 65-70. I think Johansen has another gear and assuming Columbus doesn't have an injury ridden roster like this year, he will outpoint Voracek next year.

It's a close deal. Would need league roster and settings to give exact feedback. On paper ( so to speak) I like Johansen and Landeskog side. I still need to see more from Johansen to feel comfortable with it though. Hard to move Voracek in this deal, but I can see why given the deal includes both Johansen and Landeskog - two great young up and coming keepers.
