My Scheifele & Zucker for Eberle

Made this offer to fellow GM who is considering it. Is Eberle worth it or should I cancel before he accepts. For some reason, I am having second thoughts! Advice please.

Hey Brotherman! I get your apprehension, but his value is definitely worth more than your giving up. Even on Edmonton. And if he ever gets moved... WATCH OUT! Keep calm and let the trade go on.

In a points keeper league, I actually prefer Scheifele. I think he's more talented than Eberle and he's in a better situation to succeed as he's being groomed to become the #1 center in Winnipeg.
I really think Jordan Eberle is overrated in hockey in general.

With Eberle, you know you're getting at least 60 points a season. Can't really say that for those 2 COMBINED this year, or even the next.

To the poster who says he's overrated - in reality, he probably is. His over-average point pace doesn't justify how poor he is defensively.
But as fantasy managers, we don't really care about how bad someone's 2way play is unless it affects his ice time. And on Edmonton, Eberle will continue getting 1st line minutes because everyone in the top 6 sucks at positioning correctly and making the right decisions to prevent a GA.

GM thought about it, but in the end he couldn't do it and rejected my offer. I thought about upping the offer, but then I think I would be giving up too much.

Good for you. You will be happy that this deal didn't amount to anything as Scheifele will slowly become a more valuable asset than Eberle.
Eberle is going to be the new Bobby Ryan, inflated value because of one good season.
