What to do with Goligoski? (rep awarded)

Goligoski has reached the point where I wanna kick his ass to the curb.

Do I proceed? Notable FA's are

Wisniewski,
Zidlicky
Hamilton
Ekblad
McDonagh (dropped him earlier, and I don't trust his shoulder this year)
Faulk
Chara
E. Johnson
Ellis
Josi


Would you drop goligoski for anyone of these? I have one in my head, but I want confirmation first.

In order: Wiz (if you're not worried about him getting injured), Josi, Hamilton, Johnson are all better options at this point.

Definitely Josi and Chara for me. Chara will still put up points in Boston. But I think I'd take Josi.

Would consider Hamilton, Faulk, and Wisniewski.

Not that big a fan of Chara in a points only format.

I was thinking wiz myself. Once he gets hurt I can drop his ass, I just wanted to make sure that the others weren't better options.

I think wiz is off to a slow start due to Columbus having so much injuries, so his potential is decent.

The problem with Goli is he's continually losing opportunity. First to Daley, and now to Klingberg. So he has 2 guys he has to beat to get to PP1 minutes, not to mention Demers, who is also a decent puck mover. Josi may have started slowish, but he's still basically on pace for 40 points, and is glued into his spot beside Weber at even strength and on the PP.

Josi for me as well. Last year he was on 55-point pace since December. I think he picks up the pace this year similarly.

Comparing Goligoski's and Josi's pace via frozenpool's chart a player you get some interesting results. Not to say this the the be-all end-all reason to drop Gogo and add Josi

so looking at these stats it suggest Josi is the one to go?

Just showing that Goligoski's point pace is trending down and Josi's pace is trending up. Still your decision but that's what I would do, swap Gogo with Josi.
