If you don't want to take Staal's contract, Hartnell or Filpulla are ok but in a pts only Staal really does have the best upside here. Even in Carolina.

Filppula- better contract than StaAL - and playing with Stamkos
If you can absorb Staals contract then I would take him first.

I'm also in a similar boat. My pool is a purely goals/assists point system, one year pool (top 6 are keepers). Barkov was just dropped. Worth the drop and pick up?
