Default Nelson for Phaneuf - am I buying too high here?

I've been trying to move a man for a scoring forward - recently picked up Voynov after someone in my league panic dumped him - I have 8 good dmen and only enough games to play 7.

I've been offered Nelson and a 4th for my Phaneuf and a 6th.
I think the price is too high on a buy high guy like Nelson. But man is that Isles pp great!
I'd like to try to talk him down to either Gudas or Seakbrook for Nelson.
    What do you guys think?
    My league:
12 team keeper Yahoo roto cash league (can play 12F, 6D, 2G + 5 bench spots and 1 spot for farming rookies during the year)
    G, A, PPP, +/-, PIMS, Hits, SOG, W, Sv%, GAA, SO, Saves
11 keepers + 1 NA (farm team) at seasons end

Forwards - Malkin, Kessel, Tarasenkol, Simmonds, Hudler, Zibanajad, Nelson, Pominville, H.Sedin, Ehlers, Kesler, Stastny Roussel, Dano, Draisaitl, Pulkinnen
D - Weber, Shattenkirk, Faulk, Klinberg, Parayko, Gudas, Borowiecki
G (max 4) - C. Anderson, Elliott, Vaselievskiy, last spot used for rotating backups at the moment
    NA - Hellebuyck

Depending on the league, dmen don't necessarily have much value. It looks like a pretty fair offer to me and it probably comes down to:
    a) keepers - phaneuf looks like a potential one on your roster
    b) how much do you need phaneufs peripherals?
    c) can you confidently say Nelson is an automatic start given your league setup.

Sorry I can't give you a clear yes or no. Hope this gives you some alternate perspectives though.

How many players do your start at each position? 8 or 11F and 4 or 6D? My guess is 8F/4D.

Assuming 8F/4D and given PIM/HITS/SOG as cats, Phaneuf is definitely worth more than Nelson and a 4th.

I would condone Gudas or Seabrook and a slight pick upgrade from you.

Phaneuf has pretty good value in a PIM/Hits league.
    I think I'd keep him.

    12G/6D/2G

Even in this format, I agree, that Phaneuf is way too valuable.
What do you think about moving Jenner for Gudas straight up?

I think I would take Jenner in that swap. I'm worried about Gudas continuing to produce as he does. I think he's going to fall back to a primarily PIM/Hits guy with many injuries. Jenner should add quite a bit more scoring.

with hits as a category i say jenner, he should be back soon and is an absolute stud in hits leagues, i could see him becoming a milan lucic type player in fantasy in a few years
