I's it just me, or has this multi positional thing gotten completely out of hand?

The past three or four years it has gotten fairly absurd. And look, I get it, players get shuffled to different roles. Sometimes they really do deserve multiple positions. But it's fricking fantasy hockey. A game. What's more fair, reflecting the real life version of the game more accurately? Or keeping the rules the same for everyone throughout the game? Adding new positions for players mid-season is bush league.
Lots of chatter about this today. In another thread I propose that Yahoo give commishes three options:
1) Initial positions only (no changes during the year)
2) Initial positions + changes (to appease those that want it)
3) Custom (initial positions + manual changes made by the commissioner)
That way just about everyone can be happy to an extent.

I am of the opinion that any player who has played multiple positions at the NHL level for any length of time (say 20 games or more) should permanently have multiple positions. If a guy has shown the ability to play another position, it means he can play the position so that should be a possibility in fantasy hockey.
