    Default Daley or Carlson

Considering dropping Carlson for Daley - thoughts?

Both are the playing the point on their respective teams' PP1.
Both are contributing a fair number of blocks.
Both are displacing players who would arguably have been considered the 'established' QBs for the power play at the start of the season (i.e. Green / Goligoski)

It's a tough call but I'd be kicking myself seeing someone else pick up Daley who seems to thriving.

Carlson hasn't scored any power play points yet but he does seem to be outshooting Daley.

I'd sit tight on this one. Daley is doing well, no doubt. But he's 31 years old with no history of playing like this over a full 82. Carlson has been groomed for that top PP for a little while now bc of Green's pesky injury history, and I think this is the year it pays big dividends. Also, I can see that PP falling off in Dallas if one of those guys up front (I'm looking at you, Spezza!) goes down. There's little chance anything like that happens in Washington.

Agreed on Green getting injured at some point. Good point on the age difference as well, Carlson is only 24 compared to Daley 31. Honestly being relatively new to fantasy hockey I hadn't even heard of Daley before and assumed he was a young up-and-coming guy.

I would hold Carlson. Even though he can be a frustrating player to own, I trust Carlson more.

Carlson for me, although Daley is a nice pickup while he's hot. Any other dropsie options or is Carlson the weakest link?

Thanks guys. Would also consider dropping Vatanen, but it seems like a lateral move and I'm pretty high on him and he's performing so not quite ready to give up on him just yet.

Might not be a bad idea, was thinking of taking a shot at someone like Duchene or MacKinnon or Neal but I'll probably open up another thread for that.
