Beleskey due to injuries above him on depth chart.
Carter due to him being one of the best and most consistent goal scorer in recent years.
Which player continues their hot start? and why? i.e. 1PP unit, top 6 player, injury??
Not looking for opinion. back it up with rationale.
Mason Raymond
Joe Colbourne
Jeff Carter
Justin Abdelkader
Matt Beleskey
Alexei Emelin
Thanks in advance.
Beleskey due to injuries above him on depth chart.

Carter only. You'll get his 35 goals and maybe even as many assists now that he's clicking on a line with Toffoli and Pearson (but probably more like 35G, 30A). The others don't have any history of top performance at the NHL level to really feel excited about.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
Hornqvist because he's in a great situation and is on the best PP1 I can think of....
EDIT: Oops, sorry, missed the list. I agree that it's Carter.
RETIRED
Definitely Carter for the reasons mentioned above.
Definitely not beleskey as he's already dropped from the top line in favor of SmithPelly even with the injuries. He's a flash IMHO
as an update i'm looking for points only and salary cap should be given a consideration. so, colbourne would be al most as 4X as valuable as carter. thanks
...and which brings us to this thread...
RETIRED
Carter is the only player on that list I would expect more than 50 points from. Maybe Raymond, but even if he breaks 50 it won't be by much. Everyone else will be WW material before long.

Mason Raymond is known for being a hot starter. If you look at his career shooting percentage by month it is highest in October and drops every month.
