I went with Toews.
He's never the "sexy" pick.
He's Mr.70-something-points.

But... that may be enough.
His linemates are still Sharp & Hossa. Awesomeness.
And the PP still has Pat Kane and Keith and I believe they weren't even fully dynamic on the PP last year.

If it was me at the draft table and my turn to speak I would choose Kopitar. if Gaborik can play at least 65 games He'll be close to 75-80 pts

he's add 5 seasons over 70 pts already and had one in that with 81 pts..

Can't go wrong with Toews, he's always a good bet for points and got to love his linemates like you said. Interesting comment about the Hawks PP, I agree that is has more potential than it showed last season! It's one of the reasons I'm looking at Keith mid 2nd round.

I like Duchene a lot, it will be interesting to see who gets more points between him and MacKinnon. I'm not so sure about Staal as his injury troubles worry me a bit, but he always seems to play his games no matter what. I would guess a bounce back season for him as well.

I think one or two of them will get 80 points or more, just not sure which one or ones will, tough call. All are capable though.

These players are all so close together there's no reasonable pick. Anybody telling you they know the answer is full of it IMO

I went with Duchene, I think this is the year he breaks 80 points. Tavares, Hall, and Seguin have all taken that step, I think Duchene does it as well.

Toews is interesting....I still believe even with how he's used by the Hawks he has a higher gear in scoring. I think he gets to 85 at least once in his career.....maybe it's this season, who knows? He's second behind Duchene for me, followed by steady Kopitar and Thornton.
