Default Reliable Forward Line Sources for 2014-2015

So obviously the Frozen Pool tool is great giving you time on ice stats for line combinations, including powerplay, penalty kills, and whatever else you need. But it focuses on the past.

Also Left Wing Lock provides this data but I find it is often incorrect.

Does anybody have a really great source for line combination, that is kept up to date, including powerplay combos? Or is this best followed on an individual team-by-team basis?

I've always used the frozen pool tool and the LWL as a backup from time to time.

dailyfaceoff.com is another option but I never found it to be any better than frozen pool so I just kept referring to that.

We'll see it within the next 2-3 years.
One person will set it up and then 2-3 other sites will follow.
[I actually test-drove the idea with a shared google doc here on DobberHockey a few years ago, but we didn't have a rep for all 30 teams and the format was too messy and not user friendly. Fail.]

Hockey news (like other stuff) is now heavily linked to Twitter.
I almost am considering a twitter account so I can know instantly when a big-name goalie goes down (just so I can pick-up the back-up).
This is, unfortunately, the future of fantasy hockey.

Most NHL teams have 1-3 "beat" writers that actively cover the team during practice sessions.
For example, Mark Stepneski covers the Dallas Stars so well, that I think his twitter feed is probably sufficient for staying up-to-date on current Dallas Stars line combos.
Sam Kasan covers Penguins practices for their NHL.com website, and I often read that after their 10am morning practice.
If you click that above link, you'll see the pre-game roster for the Pens practice game.
He also typically lists line combos & PP units from practice on game day.

Really, a sharp fantasy hockey website just needs to identify those 30 reliable sources to feed them information.
Collect them... create a special link where somebody can quickly view them in a nice one-internet-page-view shot.
    Or... team-by-team, for multiple "clicks".
    $$$$$. Site clicks go BOOM.
(you're welcome to any Fantasy Hockey Site managers reading...)

Rotoworld is good for 1-off "new" news...like someone getting a chance on the 1st line, or getting more PP time etc.

    I read that daily.
It is an excellent thing for a fantasy GM to do... shhhhhhh.

I'd say... it's probably my #5 thing I use towards my skill of "in-season" (post draft) fantasy hockey management.
    1. Watching games.
    2. Checking box scores
    3. Reading Dobberhockey
    4. Sorting statistics
    5. Rotonews/rotoworld player updates.
