Keep 2: Kapanen vs. Nylander vs. Burakovsky

Hey folks - this is for the league in my Signature.

I drafted these 3 players in my league's Entry Draft yesterday (25th, 29th, & 39th overall).

I only have 2 Junior slots available, and I don't see myself keeping any of these guys over a current roster player (Campbell, Gudas, or Read would be the guy I would be dropping if I did keep all 3 of these guys).

So I am happy to wait on these guys for a few years in Junior if necessary - which 2 should I keep, and why?

same as Axeman, these guys have more offensive upside then kapenen in my opinion, although kap vs Burakovsky is close.

I know you say that you're more than happy to keep this guys in the minors for a couple of years but it's always better when your prospects are actually playing at the pro level. Give me Burakovsky and Nylander because I expect to see them sooner.

No, the chances of Kapanen skating in the NHL this season are small. There is a chance, apparently, but it's small.

I'd keep Nylander for sure. Between Kap and Burakovsky it's a lot closer. Probably Kapenen.

Sounds like Nylander is a lock; here is how I see the other two:

Kapanen: Seems like a phenomenal talent - love his situation - I really hate to drop him, as I feel its unlikely that I would be able to re-draft him next year.

Burakovsky: I know a great deal less about him - apart from the fact that he is something of a darling on the Dobber Forums.

I only get to stash a guy in the minors until he plays 80 NHL games - does that change anyone's opinion?

So I've decided to keep Burakovsky and Nylander, down on my Jr. squad.

I'm attempting to deal Kapanen out of Conference, to a rebuilding team.

Probably not a bad way to play it. Kapanen has a lot of hype behind him due to the Crosby factor, so if you play that angle up you might be able to get someone real nice for him.
