The only reasons I could see putting him higher than either of those 2 is because he is on a better team with a better +/-, gets more PIMS and many of us use hits and Dallas players have it easy in that category. Plus he's likely to get more goals than Giroux and possibly Tavares. People are likely piggybacking on Seguin here as well. I've drafted him since year 2 and have never been disappointed, but I also had him and Giroux.

I'd be hard pressed to bump him past those two, he's getting close but not quite at that level for me

i don't think he's at their level, and i don't think he'll get there at all. not a knock on him, he's just not giroux or JT. giroux had more than a point a game last year after a horrible start. if he doesn't do that again, he should hit 90 easily. tavares also has been more than a point per game player, and he's really young - still no where near his prime. in his prime, he should be a borderline 100 point player. i don't think that benn hits those numbers. maybe 85 points, which bad, but not giroux or JT numbers.

    Tavares
    Giroux
    Benn

Benn & Giroux might be interchangable because of categories other than points, but G, A, PPP and probably S will belong to Tavares. He's a special player and just coming into his prime. He's also younger than Benn & Giroux by 1 and 2 years respectively.

Benn is great but I don't see a season over point per game in his cards.

I just don't see Benn jumping either of those guys. All of them are young and have years of quality hockey in front of them. Benn is up there with them, but in my eyes, still behind both of them.

    Multi-cat:
    Giroux
    Benn
    Tavares

    For me.
Very close though, but that's how I'd draft them.

You need to be scoring Hits to have Benn worth more than either of those guys.

I'm tempted to rank Benn higher b/c while Benn projects at 75-80 PTS, and Giroux/Tav 85-90 PTS, your exchanging that 10 PTS difference for possible +15 +/- and +20 PIMS. That seems like a good exchange to me, especially when you consider Benn only had 19 PPP last season. Playing alongside Sequin for year 2, I can easily see that number jump by +10, making up the overall PTS difference

    Anyone agree?

No. I'd only take Benn over those two if your league is set positions and you already have strong centre depth with no depth on the left wing

    I'd rank them:
    JT
    Giroux
    Benn

I can't list my 2nd main keeper as there are too many players, but it is a keep all H2H points-only league
