Scheifele, Strome or Forsberg?
Who do you like, this year and long term. I'm thinking Scheifele short term and Strome long term but wanted to hear what the forum thinks. One interesting twist, this pool is basically points only plus PIM this year but may move to add Hits, Blks next. Does this give Scheifele a significant boost?

Scheifele for me too. He started slowly, but really came on until getting injured - team sunk after that. He is in a good position to produce in short and long term.

Definitely Scheifele. I wasn't a big fan early on but I watched him a lot last season and I was really impressed. I think he has tons of potential and see him being the best option long-term. Scheifele appears set to centre Kane and Wheeler which makes him easily the best short-term option if he holds that spot. I should add that I am not as high on Strome as some others so this an easy one for me.

In a points only league, I would think these guys all have a similar ceiling, maybe even within 10 points of each other, but Scheifele is further ahead in his development so I would take him.
If you add hits, PIM and any of the other cats you mentioned, then Scheifele becomes the CLEAR choice amongst the three.

This turned out to be a little more clear cut than I would have thought. I'm trying to put a deal together to move Bobby Ryan for either Strome or Scheifele and a draft pick. Looks like Scheifele is the consensus pick now, and moving forward. Thanks guys! We'll see whether the other GM likes this or not.

I still want Scheifele long term. I do like what forsberg has done and can understand that pick... But Maurice is making Scheifele complete, which will not hurt his prognosis
