It could be wash for these guys for a while but eventually Rielly will be the superior player IMO. Whether it takes the 1-3 years as per your window, I'm not as sure, but I would go with Rielly regardless.
hi, guys!
please, tell me what do you think who has the highest upside, and who will have more fantasy points this year and 3 years in advance
thanx, i will listen to your advices and opinions

Instinct was to say Rielly for me as well, but not by as much as one might think. Both have much to prove and I like Vatanen's team situation a little better. Rielly by only 10% for me.

Vatanen owner saying Reilly.
I feel Vatanen is slightly underrated and Rielly in slightly overrated..
I would probably lean towards Rielly longterm just because Vatanen is going to have to contend with Fowler and Lindholm..

Angus is my best friend at dobberhockey..
I think both are still proving themselves by my gut reaction is to say Rielly.

For me Rielly is everything you want from Vatanen but less risky. I'd go with Rielly.

Morgan Rielly. And I'm high on both. I compare Rielly to a future Duncan Keith and Vatanen to a future Lubomir Visnovsky. Both could emerge into top offensive DMen but Rielly will be safer, more reliable and has a better chance reaching his full potential.
Reilly. I'm not buying the Vatanen hype. He is not even a guaranteed regular this year. He MIGHT get 35 points this year and he MIGHT even get to 40+ over the next couple of years but the risk with him is higher than with Reilly. Plus, Reilly's upside is higher anyway.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
Reilly is Paul Coffeyesque. Dude is smooth, and would be my choice here.
Reilly if only just for trade value... people love him, shoot for the moon with a trade offer.
Reilly for me long term, Sami Vat isn't a bad option either.

I love Morgan Rielly, but the Maple Leafs ruin everything they get their hands on. I'd go with Vatanen. At least the Ducks know how to run an organization.
Not that I would disagree with your point about the leafs asset management but Phil Kessel is a pretty good fantasy producer isn't he? The fact of the matter is that when you're good, you're good. I believe Rielly poses that type of high level skill to succeed in just about any situation.
