Current thoughts are to ditch all my goalies and test the draft waters as my goalies all suck. Likewise most of my remaining forwards seem to also suck.

Also have Brian Campbell but Florida's +/- scares me more than a bit. Then again CGY and CBJ aren't all that great either

I posted this in your thread asking if you should keep Khudobin. I feel it answers well this one too
So if I understand correctly, you need to select 3 extra keepers from the list below to get to 11 and you are wondering if Khudobin is worth keeping?
First of all, you are currently at $83/$200 for 8 players out of 17. That leaves you with 9 guys (3 keepers and 6 draftees)? Can you carry more than 17?
Not knowing the complete details of your pool, I would think that Giordano at $1 is a must keep. I would also keep Wisniewski at $3. That last spot would be a flip between Muzzin (to complete your D), Khudobin or Pavelec, to give yourself at least a potential starter prior to the draft. Do you know which goalies will be made available? If I were you, I would keep Pavelec with that last keeper spot and try to handcuff Michael Hutchinson to get a starting tandem. I like Khudobin and letting him slide could hurt you down the road, but without a goalie, especially in a 15 team league, you are going to have a looooong year. Then again, McDavid could be a nice addition next year.
NOTE: If you think Pavelec is redraftable, even at a premium price (you should have some extra cash IMO), then protect Khudobin at $4.

Heh! That would be Jean-Gabriel Pageau on Ottawa. Liked him in the playoffs the year before, though he had some potential. Didn't really get a lot of playing time last season though.Originally Posted by Hanna14

I am leaning towards the Gio, Wiz, Vat combo. Gio and Wiz, for their faults and not so great teams, are at the very least legit 1st line, 1st PP players, and will get all the time they want. Which hopefully isn't Gio going a billion negative, or Wiz getting injured for half the season. With Vat I give myself decent values on a decent team, with some potential down the road...

I like Gio, Wiz and Khudobin. Khudobin at $1 is a steal, especially if BAB Cam Ward gets injured, which he most likely will.

What stands out here is that you are not in good shape with your tenders. Having to start 2, ouch! I would have to question how valuable Khubodin will be even if he steals the job from Ward, the Canes and whoever is between the pipes may be in for a very long season. So I'm inclined to agree, cutting bait on all these guys might not be a bad idea. Gio, Wiz and Vatanen for me. If Vatanen has a strong start he could be a nice trading chip for you in seeking a goalie.
