My youth for his vets
Need some advice for a basic keeper league (Defence points: 2 for a goal, one for an assist. Forward points straight up) with an 8 round draft.
He's offering:
Parise, Vanek, Semin and Buff (as a d-man) and a 4th rounder next year
for my:
Kuznetsov, Vantanen, a 7th and 8th this year and a 2nd next year.
My thoughts: With my existing core (Tavares, Giroux, Seguin, Yandle, Carlson) it would put me in contention for sure. I'm not sure I could keep everyone next year though and Kuz and Vant could be nearly as good this year and give me a longer run.
Your thoughts?

I think that's a great deal for you with the potential to push you over the top. I wouldn't be too worried losing the youngsters that you are because likely they don't go much farther past what guys like Parise and Vanek have proven they can do for you. It also serves to upgrade your keepers as Carlson is a huge blemish on an otherwise great set. I think this is a homerun. Start planning the parade.

I think getting just Parise for Kuznetsov and Vatanen would have been a fair deal for a contender. I would accept that deal immediately.
