Going for Stammer.

I have 2 offers in mind.

P.Kane + G.Nyquist for S.Stamkos

Or

T.Seguin + G.Nyquist for S.Stamkos

Note: The other GM has been after my Nyquist for a while.

Is this enough? Too much? Will Stamkos' numbers be less without St.Louis?

I would say that neither offer is enough to land Stammer (as I would not trade Stammer for Seguin / Nyquist). You will certainly need to '+' this....What does his roster look like / what are some gaps?

His team is set in goal and on defence. His fowards are Stamkos,Thorton,E.Kane,Wheeler,Turris,Saad,Moulson ,Tatar,T.Johnson

I think it is a pretty close to a fair deal, but if I owned Stamkos I would want someone a little more proven. A proven 70 point player plus Seguin or Kane would be a fair trade.

I agree. This isn't real hockey it's fantasy. I'd be surprised to see stammer crack 90 pts this season and Seguin is a pretty sure bet for 80. I think you should stick with what you have. Who would you be able to replace Nyquist with? I have a feeling that you might break even this year but you'll probably lose in the long run.

Agreed. I see Stammer as a high 80s player right now (without MSL) and Seguin as likely the same.

Great call. As you can see from this thread alone there are varying opinions on Stammer. Let the other GM show his hand first.

I dont think either offer is a bad one for Stamkos. If anything, it gets discussion going and you have a better idea of just how much he values Stamkos.
