    Nope... That's actually a diagnosis?

    Sexually Transmitted Disease you Devil.

Esh... Sorry to hear it Lucifer.

    (See what I did there?)

    I kid I kid.

But seriously... How is this a valuable stat? Or is it for the freakishly advanced poolie?

I’ll use the total sometimes. But if I’m making a trade and I need PPP or FW I’ll use that as a filter option.

If I had the option between Plekanec and J.Staal the typical answer would have been JStaal, but if I need more all-around stats, Plekanecs offers more. Or if I wanted just FW, Vermette and JStaal are somewhat close in value, but vermette has a better overall total, and FW points.

Giroux in STD Dev points finished 2nd in my league, but his ranking was 4th. I would see how it would be a real useful category for rotisserie leagues because you want to do well in all categories.

You can see how Ovi gets like 5.28pts for his goals, but loses 3.59pts on his +/-. In Rot leagues this would be a problem, but in H2H it’s not a big problem.

So it's a standard deviation against similar players? By position I assume? I can see that being handy.

I think it’s against all positions. Average the amount of FW in a yr, take that and divide it amounts all players in the league.

    10,000 FW / 700 players = 14FW/player. If you get 28FW, you have a 2.0 point total. If you have 7FW, you have a -0.5 point total.

    I THINK.

Bouwmester had 3FW all yr, he scored a -0.41 for FW. So it’s regardless of position.
Michael Raffi is a LW. He had 2 FW all yr and has a -0.13 tho (must be games played prorated)

    C: Horvat, Trocheck
LW: J. Robertson, Byfield (C), Guenther
RW: Pavelski (C), Giroux (C), Svechnikov (LW)
D: Fox, Makar, Bouchard, Morrissey, Gudas
    Util: Meier (LW, RW)

Weird. That seems much less useful
