    Default Hertl expectations this year

    looked like he had it all last year. size,skill,speed.... could be a building block for the sharks. IF he isnt gunna be a band aid boy... im thinking he could hit 60points with average peripherals if he doesnt get "hert"l. thoughts on this up coming season for the teenaged mutant ninja hertl?

    If he stays with jumbo joe I could see 50 ish points. They also need someone to replace Burns on tht line. Who should that be be?

    I think 60 is realistic given his pending prominence in the top 6 and the PP

    41 points is my guess. Rumors have it that San Jose wants Hertl to be their 3rd line center to let Pavelski play with Thornton. This would greatly impact Hertl's ability to put up great point totals. He will also at best be on the 2nd PP unit as Couture, Pavelski, Thornton, Marleau & Burns are almost guaranteed to be the first unit.

    He's coming off knee surgery, I would be cautious expecting too much from him. 40 points seems a safe bet to me.

    Hate to say it but this seems realistic. Knee surgery and if he starts slow he will get bumped off the top lines. Being a young player isn't fair sometimes.

    I'd bank on 40 pts and hope for 55. Anything above that and youre doing really well.
