Setting up Keeper League
How do you set up a keeper league in Yahoo? I created a league, but can’t figure out how to make it a keeper league? Any help is much appreciated.

The option for it to be a keeper league appears next season when you renew the league

OH! Ok. So I set it up as a regular league and just tell people it’s a keeper league until 2015/16 season, then the option of keepers becomes available?

Correct. It will carry the rosters forward then you can set up a date for keepers to be declared. then the commish has to review and approve keeper lists

Can I switch Yahoo! leagues to a salary cap? I created a league and cant seem to find where to switch it to a Cap League

You can change it to a keeper:
'Commish Tools'
'Edit Keeper Settings' (bottom link under 'League Management'
Tick the box.
Though if a new league not sure if it makes a difference until later in the season when you set keepers. It might be worth a try, though.

Does anyone know how to set up the Consolation Round for the playoffs? Can't seem to find it anywhere and the Yahoo message board is pretty useless.

Yahoo does not do Cap Leagues. You'll have to get the premium Fantrax league for that ($80 a year).

For setting up a keeper league, you may also want to enable the option to "Allow draft pick trades" in league settings. Also, if you do this, be sure to let the league know up-front which "draft" positions correspond to keepers. E.g. in our keep-6 league, draft picks 1-6 are reserved for keepers and not tradeable, and trading draft pick 7 is equivalent to trading your first-round draft pick next year.
